SUMMARY:Women of Asphalt Summer Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Women of Asphalt West Virginia is excited to welcome Rich McElhaney with "The Real Cost of Safety" as their keynote speaker to share his experience with construction safety.  A must-see presentation for everyone in the construction field.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, attendees will be able to hear from Denny Magruder\, Mayor of Wheeling\, as well as Brittyn Heisler\, Director of the national Women of Asphalt.  Finally\, WofAWV executive committee members will present the 2025 WofAWV scholarship to two young women entering the construction industry.\n\n\n\nThe event will take place at Waterfront Hall overlooking the Ohio River in Wheeling\, WV\, with networking begins at 11:00 am.  Lunch will be served at 11:30 am with speakers following.\n\n\n\nWofA is also collecting socks during the event to help those in need in the Wheeling area\, especially following the devastating floods.  Each donation of socks\, get you entered for the door prize raffle.
