43rd Annual APA Fall Meeting

We hope you are planning to join fellow APAWV members, September 18 – 21, 2025, for our 43^rd Annual Fall Meeting as we return to Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. APAWV’s meeting agenda focuses mainly on Friday and Saturday, with breakfast meetings and evening receptions each day, a Friday afternoon golf tournament and a Saturday afternoon Kids Roads to Fun activity.  Those arriving early are welcome to join fellow members at the Thursday afternoon Early Bird discussion, to discuss ongoing issues.  Below you will find a tentative agenda for the meeting, updates will be posted on the event website here.

All work and no play makes John a dull boy, so make sure you check out all that Oglebay has to offer for young and old alike.  At Oglebay you’ll find all the usual activities: golf, hiking trails, horseback riding, swimming, etc. but there is so much more to explore at Oglebay, be sure to check out these great sites in the park as well.

• Oglebay’s Adventure Center and Schenk Lake offer aerial challenge courses, rock climbing walls, mini golf, paddle boats, segway tours, bike rentals and more.
• The Good Zoo is home to 68 species of animals, 20 of which are rare or endangered.
• The West Spa, located in Oglebay's Wilson Lodge, is a luxurious 5,000-square-foot sanctuary offering best-in-class services paired with the finest products and equipment.
• The Museums of Oglebay Institute, including the Mansion Museum and Glass Museum, are great places to learn and explore.  Also on property is the Schrader Environmental Education Center, which connects you to nature through hands-on, science-based experiences.
